Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain terms, what Screen Mirroring: Cast to TV collects, why it collects it, and the choices you have. We've written it to match what the app actually does — nothing more.
01 Who we are
Screen Mirroring: Cast to TV is developed and published by Kamelos Apps. This policy applies only to this app. If you use other apps published by Kamelos Apps or our affiliated developer accounts, their own privacy policies apply to those apps.
02 Information we collect
The app is designed to work without requiring an account, sign-in, or personal profile. We collect the following categories:

03 Permissions the app requests
In line with Google Play's permissions policy, we only request what the core mirroring functionality needs:

You can review or revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings → Apps → Screen Mirroring: Cast to TV → Permissions. Revoking a permission may limit or disable the related feature.
04 How we use your information
- To discover nearby casting-capable devices and establish a mirroring connection
- To keep the app stable — identifying and fixing crashes and performance issues
- To understand which features are used, so we can improve the app
- To show and measure ads that keep the app free to use
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable
05 Advertising & personalization
This app is monetized through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your advertising identifier and other signals to show ads, including personalized ads based on your interests, and to measure ad performance.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization on your Android device.
- You can reset your advertising ID at any time from the same menu.
- Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we request your consent for personalized ads and analytics via a consent prompt before any non-essential data processing begins, using Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP).

07 Data sharing & sale
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- With service providers listed above (AdMob, Firebase), strictly to operate the app
- If required by law, court order, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Kamelos Apps, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with continued protection under an equivalent policy
08 Data retention
Mirrored screen content is streamed in real time and is never stored. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained by our service providers per their standard retention windows (typically up to 14 months for Firebase Analytics), after which it is deleted or aggregated. We do not maintain a separate server-side database of user data.
09 Data security
Mirroring connections operate over your local network using standard casting protocols. We rely on Google's infrastructure (Firebase, AdMob) for analytics and ad data, which is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do not operate our own servers that store your personal or mirrored content.
10 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:
- Know what data is processed about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized ads
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
Since the app does not require an account, most data tied to you is device-level and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or resetting your advertising ID. For any other request, contact us using the details below.
11 International data transfers
Our third-party providers (Google) may process and store data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, under Google's standard contractual safeguards for international transfers.
12 Children's privacy
This app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
13 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app, our practices, or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
